Tanya and Cameron had one of the most unique charming southern Louisiana weddings I have ever been a part of. They had the great idea of renting a house on the Bayou and held the ceremony and reception outside on the beautiful property of the home. Not only did the house make for a stunning venue, it also provided a place for the bride and groom and bridal party to get ready. Very non-traditional but I always love when the bride and groom think outside the box! As you can see this property was absolutely gorgeous.
Tanya and Cameron started their day off by getting ready with their closest friends and family. Once they were both ready, they met by the water of the lagoon at the edge of the property for Tanya’s grand reveal. After the first look they took all of the bridal party and family photos to help minimize the amount of pictures after the ceremony (Also a great idea!) This couple was smart! After pictures it was show time. The ceremony was set at the edge of the bayou with beautiful trees surrounding the setting. They had rustic chairs with pillows and blankets for their guest. I loved how charming this made the ceremony look, not to mention how much more comfortable the guest were with pillows! Once the bride and groom were pronounced husband and wife and the sun had set, the cocktail hour and reception began. The twinkle lights at night made the entire venue glow for the reception. Tanya and Cameron ate, danced, and enjoyed their wedding as every happy couple should on their big day.
Tanya and Cameron are a beautiful couple and you can tell that they truly love each other. I wish them nothing but the best in their marriage. Congratulations!!!
