Ellen & Danielle’s wedding absolutely stunning.
I was so excited about Ellen and Danielle’s wedding because it was so unique and gorgeous not to mention it was my first ever same sex wedding. This was the most traditional wedding with a non-traditional twist that I had ever done. So let me tell you about their amazing wedding! The girls began their day by getting ready at the Hyatt French Quarter. Ellen wore this amazing custom white jump suit while Danielle wore the most perfect white wedding gown I had ever seen. The two were simply beautiful. I love how these two played with a different perspective of a traditional wedding and really made it their own. After getting ready, the guests were shuttled to the ceremony was at St. George’s Episcopal Church. Once the girls said their “I-do’s”, they stayed back to take pictures while the guests continued to the well-known Wax museum located in the French quarter for cocktails and a museum tour. Once cocktail hour was over, the guests were brought up to the reception room where Ellen and Danielle made their grand entrance. With umbrellas in hand and the 6 piece brass band leading the way, the grand entrance secondline began. All the guests immediately jumped in and started the party. The reception fun just continued from there. DJ Jack Magic kept the guests dancing – they were on the dance floor the entire night. At one point in the night they even broke out into the choreographed dance to “Bad Romance” by Lady Gaga. Let’s just say I think we have some professionals in the group. :)
You could tell that Ellen and Danielle were best friends and found their soulmate. I am so honored that Ellen and Danielle asked me to be a part of their special day and given me a chance to look at the traditional wedding in a not so traditional way. Congrats to Ellen & Danielle!
