DIY MASON JARS

There are so many creative and fun things you can do with a simple mason jar. Check your local Walmart or dollar store for these great jars by the dozen. They usually run about $1 each which is very affordable. Here are a few ideas to get you started on your DIY décor.

Use mason jars as aisle   markers. Just take some rope or wire      and make a handle and   hang them from shepherd’s hooks. These would make great photos for the outdoor chic wedding.

Wrap lace around them. These look best when there are several clustered together. Just buy lace trim and glue them on with Modge Podge. You could incorporate your colors by adding a ribbon around each jar. Place a candle inside to create a luminous feeling for daytime and   nighttime   weddings.

Use     mason jars as escort cards. These could also double as   favors too! Just paint a shape on the jars using chalkboard paint and have your guests write their names. Everyone will love them and it’s something the guest could use again.
